The main ingredient in Finax is Finasteride. Finax is utilized to address male pattern baldness.
Consume one tablet daily or according to your physician’s instructions. This medication can be taken with or without food. For optimal results, take Finax consistently once a day. Typically, this medicine must be used regularly for 3 months before any improvements become noticeable. Once treatment is halted, any increase in hair density will diminish.
Finax inhibits the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) within the body. DHT plays a role in the onset of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and hair loss. This medication is also prescribed to alleviate symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate.
If you forget a dose of Finax and are using it consistently, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
Before starting Finax, inform your doctor if you have had any allergic reactions to this medication, or to a similar drug known as Dutasteride. Finax should never be administered to women or children. It can be absorbed through the skin, so women and children should not handle Finax tablets.
While Finax is not intended for women, exposure to this medication during pregnancy can lead to birth defects. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid handling Finax. If a woman inadvertently comes into contact with this medication from a broken or crushed tablet, she should wash the affected area with soap and water immediately. Contact your doctor right away if you observe any breast lumps, pain, nipple discharge, or other changes in the breast, as these may indicate male breast cancer.
There could be other medications that interact with Finax. Inform your doctor about all your prescription and over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and medications prescribed by other healthcare providers. Do not begin any new medication without consulting your doctor.
Seek urgent medical assistance if you experience signs of an allergic reaction, such as hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Contact your doctor immediately if you note any breast lumps, pain, nipple discharge, or other breast changes.
These may be signs of male breast cancer. Less serious side effects may include: a feeling of faintness; swelling in your hands or feet; testicular discomfort; impotence, decreased libido, or difficulties achieving orgasm; irregular ejaculation; swelling or sensitivity in your breasts; dizziness, weakness; headache; runny nose; or
skin rash.
This does not constitute a complete list of side effects, and others may occur. Report any unusual or bothersome side effect to your doctor.
